The founding of iTUSA. Hailing from the Mediterranean coast of Spain, Rafa Font de Mora developed his skills and eventually competed professionally, prior to finding his true passion. For Rafa, it was the realization that he had a true desire to help others be the best they could be. Ultimately, his dedication and his travels enabled him to do what few had done before him…establish an internationally-recognized tennis academy…and take players… from their beginning as juniors...to being ranked among the top players in the world.
From the years devoted to teaching and coaching tennis, Rafa and his multilingual staff have evolved and perfected the iTUSA Player Training Methodology. This methodology is implemented in the iTUSA Tennis Academy and in iTUSA's online tools and services. From the development of recreational players, to top junior players, to those aiming for University scholarships, and to those on the WTA and ATP tours – as well as FedCup and Davis Cup players – iTUSA is ready to take your game to the next level.
Pablo Giacopelli
Managing Partner for Worldwide Business Development As a professional coach Pablo Giacopelli has had the opportunity to put his philosophy of coaching into action and see it bear fruit. His coaching philosophy, consistent with the iTUSA player development system, is to train a player in every dimension of the game, bio-mechanics, fitness, tactics, and mental toughness. This is the holistic approach required to produce a top tennis player capable of playing at the highest levels while coping with the demands and pressures of the game. Each player Pablo has guided and trained has achieved career high rankings while working with him. This was the case with Alex Bogdanovic, Catalina Castano, Kaia Kanepi (Quarter-Finals at Roland Garros), and most recently helping Shahar Peer, who reach a career high ranking of 14 in the world. While he coached these players he helped each of them achieve numerous breakthroughs in their games and in their careers, including winning WTA event and defeating several Top 10 players. His coaching skills have also been proven in team situations with him successfully guiding the Estonian Tennis Olympic Team and the Colombian Fed Cup team as team coach on two occasions.
